The production of the Merlin III model is particularly complicated, as it involves casting over one hundred separate pieces in order to achieve the detail and quality required.

This 1:10 scale replica was made from the original drawings issued in May 1938.  Accurate in every detail, the model also includes the glycol header saddle tank.  Made in metal from a lead-free pewter,  the model measures 18.5cm [7 1/4  inches] from the tip of the threaded propeller shaft to the rear pipe work of the super-charger
